Security Officers Service
        Experienced, Dedicated, and Accountable

Unarmed Security Officers

Unarmed security officer service is XGI’s largest service sector. Our unarmed, uniformed security officers provide security patrols, systems monitoring, policy enforcement and incident response in many environments and settings. They often occupy highly visible positions, where public relations and customer service skills are essential. Our employee selection and security officer training programs are designed to develop candidates with strong communication skills into capable security officers and customer service ambassadors.

Armed Security Officers

XGI Security provides armed security service at many high-threat sites. For armed assignments, our exacting security officer selection procedures are even more stringent. In addition to our standard background investigation, reference checks, drug test and other screening requirements, for armed positions, we specifically seek candidates with prior experience, preferably in the military or law enforcement. Candidates for armed security service assignments are often subject to additional requirements established by the client and/or local or state regulations. Our "LiveScan" background check system guarantees that employees meet every single requirement without exception.

Candidates for armed assignments participate in extensive security officer training on the proper care, custody, and use of authorized firearms. Armed officers benefit from 40 hours of firearms training at minimum, more for some clients and jurisdictions. Our officers must have 3-5 years armed experience.

When It Is Important to Increase Security

The world is becoming a dangerous place. In a single day, there are multiple crimes committed across the area.  These crimes can range from theft to vandalism to murder.  Whether you are a local retail store, warehouse or commercial building, all business must take the security of their location seriously.  Many business owners see the positive impact security officers have on their business and choose to hire private security companies such as XGISECURITY to provide ongoing security services.  In other cases, security is added off and on based on fluctuating need.  Business owners frequently have difficulty determining when they should add extra security.

The need for added security isn’t always obvious.  Sometimes a business may think their current security is fine only to discover too late that they needed more.

So when should you consider increasing up your security team?

a-When Trouble is Expected

There are times when you only know that trouble is brewing.  Maybe you have a construction site, and you have heard about other locations nearby that have been vandalized.  You could be managing a commercial building or business that has noticed increased panhandling outside your building.  These are all good times to consider increasing security.  There are several things that can be done to protect a construction site, commercial building or business. Contracting with a security agency offering construction site security officers is one of them.  In the case of a commercial building or business, contracting with a private security agency providing building security officers is the best option.

b-During Unusual Security Circumstances

Unusual circumstances can mean a lot of things: maybe your business is expecting a costly delivery; your warehouse contains a special delivery of inventory that is more expensive than your typical stock; you expect an influx of customers during a big sale; etc.  Any circumstance that increases your risk of theft or attack should alert you to the need for added protection.  In cases involving valuable inventory you may want to consider armed security officers.

c-During High Profile Events

Any high profile event opens you up to numerous security concerns. From something as simple as crowd control to something as serious as preventing a terrorist attack, the more people at an event, the higher risk for something to go wrong.  Including event security guards in addition to your event staff is a good way to keep the situation under control and ensure that everyone involved remains safe.

d-At Large Parties and Events

You don’t have to be at an event of 10,000 to be unsafe.  Problems can arise at any party or private event.  Even a larger sized wedding can end in chaos if the right security measures are not followed.  Whenever you are planning a large party or event for either business or your family, considering hiring XGI SECURITY to keep guests under control so everyone can have fun without fear of an unexpected issue.

e-When Large Amounts of Money Are Involved

You suddenly have an influx of cash on your premises or the person in charge of taking deposits is leaving the premises; these are all reasons to hire an extra security officer to oversee the process.
