Our Quality Control Methodology

XGI Security maintains a formal quality assurance program to monitor the quality of uniformed security services through a combination of secret observer, site inspections, tracking devices, client feedback surveys, employee reviews, contract compliance officers and formal research. 

SECRET OBSERVER: We conduct a secret oberdervation with trained undercover personel from XGI’s Loss division.  XGI’s secret observer interact with our officers as if they are a visitor or patron and report the results of the visit to the Operations Manager and HR Director.  The secret observer are specifically evaluating the officers’ level of security awareness, greeting, posture, proactive customer service approach, and uniform appearance.

SITE VISITS:  In addition to the secret observer, our supervisors conduct unannounced and announced site inspections on varying shifts to ensure the officers are properly outfitted, on task and performing adequately.  Our managers review activity logs and incident reports during these visits and continually assess the officers’ knowledge of the site requirements. 

GUARD TOUR AND GPS TRACKING DEVICES:  Additional quality control efforts at various sites might include implementing Guard Tour systems, in which security officer rounds are tracked and then audited by our management team and placing GPS systems in patrol vehicles to track and audit mobile patrol routes. 

EMPLOYEE EVALUATIONS AND PROBATIONARY PERIODS: We evaluate new security officers at the completion of a 90 day probationary period and evaluates existing officers on an annual basis, allowing opportunity for and encouraging growth and recognizing outstanding performance. 

CLIENT FEEDBACK SURVEYS: We provide client feedback surveys at minimum annually, and as frequently as quarterly or weekly.  Our account managers meet with clients regularly to also provide an opportunity to hear feedback and ensure we are providing services to the expected standard.
